I was born on January, 8. 1935. I have graduated from the Art high school in Split. Along with the 35 year long experience in design and graphics, my main preoccupation has been painting in various techniques, and painting different landscapes, portraits, acts and nature-morte.

The landscapes remained my favorite motif. My dalmatian landscapes show the sea, wether by the mainland or the islands.

By painting the sea I find an open pathway to my esthetic-psychological content. Mainly freedom and the variety of motif, and those motifs coveer the whole Mediterranean. There I found separate motif like my personality: olive trees, vineyards, and lavander. In the background are rocky hills resembling a curtain through which I have stepped into the expressiveness of the technique, in subtility which is provided by dry pastels. Gentle and strong, like the bright red colour, yellow, blue, as the colours of vine of dalmatian vineyards.

All this has helped me find myself in the right place and I feel I am complete in that ambient landscape.

Seaside motifs, olive trees, make me premanently happy and youthful, which comes through from the colours in my paintings.
